AOP’s second IC: the L993L-QEPGBC-3I and L381L-LEPGB3DI6 share this table (the L381L sheet is marked ‘TENTATIVE’, 2020-08-18). It lacks the advance mode of aop-adv and uses a 280 us reset instead of 250 us.

Refresh & flicker

24 bit per pixel in G, R, B order, MSB first (figure ‘SINGLE DATA IN 24BIT FOR RGB’). 12 mA per channel, VDD 3.3-5.5 V on the L993L-QEPGBC (3.7-5.3 V on the L381L), DIN high 2.7 V min, low 1.0 V max (0.7 V on the L381L).

Clones & compatibility

“Compatible” is never stated bare here — each relationship carries how strong the claim is, and what bites if you assume too much.

  • protocol compatible WS2812B-V5

T0H 220-380 ns, T0L 580-1000 ns, T1H 580-1000 ns and a 280 us reset are the windows the ws2812b-v5 protocol records; the AOP T1L window is wider (0.22-1.0 us against 580 ns-1 us). The sheets never mention WorldSemi. source ↗

Evidence, not a release date. A library commit proves the part existed by that date and says nothing about how long before.
