No datasheet names the driver IC or its maker: the sheets are Xinglight letterhead documents titled with the SKU only, so this protocol is defined by the figures the sheets print (supply, per-channel current, timing table, pin set), not by a known die.

The feature list prints “preset 8 mA / channel”; the same 6-pin pad table and GRBW order as the 5 V sheet.

Datasheets disagree: reset is printed as “> 200 us” in the table while the 5 V sibling and the rest of the family use 80 us windows; the sheet title says WS2812B-12V but no WS2812B figure is repeated.

Refresh & flicker

Fpwm 8 kHz, IDD 0.26 mA at 12 V (3535RGBWC-12V sheet C51900949).

Library support

Not checked against any library. The sheets state a 24-bit (32-bit for IC-01W) frame sent high bit first at 800 kbps.

Dating evidence

Evidence, not a release date. A library commit proves the part existed by that date and says nothing about how long before.
