The sheet names the driver “5050 IC-01W”: “a single-line transmission four-channel driver IC” with R/G/B and white dies. This is the only Xinglight sheet that names its IC; it does not say who makes it.
Datasheets disagree: the feature list says OUTR/G/B 8 mA and OUTW 17 mA, output withstand 26 V; the electrical tables say 12 mA on all four outputs (VDS = 1.0 V, test conditions IF = 12 mA) and a 9 V port withstand; the cover says “WS2812B” but the protocol is 32-bit, four-channel, with different timing windows. The feature list gives PWM 1.5 kHz, the table 4 kHz and the switching table 1.2 kHz.
Refresh & flicker
fPWM 4 kHz (switching table: 1.2 kHz at 12 mA), IDD 0.5 mA, VIH 3.4 V, VIL 1.8 V, output-port withstand 9 V (feature list: 26 V), propagation delay 0.5 us.

Library support
Not checked against any library. The sheets state a 24-bit (32-bit for IC-01W) frame sent high bit first at 800 kbps.

Dating evidence
Evidence, not a release date. A library commit proves the part existed by that date and says nothing about how long before.
