The 1615 Beking part uses a different IC from the 1010, 1209 and 3233 parts (timing table differs), so it is kept apart from beking-sid. Beking’s own words: ‘this model is a 3-channel LED driver IC with an MCU digital interface, data latch and LED drive’.
Refresh & flicker
Logic supply 3.5-7.5 V (absolute maximum), RGB output pin 9 V, ESD 4 kV (IC), default drive 12 mA, default off at power-up, 256 grey levels, built- in oscillator, data reshaped and forwarded; 24 bit per pixel G, R, B, MSB first. ‘Data protocol compatibility is high’ (feature list).
Timing
| Source | T0H | T0L | T1H | T1L | Period | Rate | Reset | ± |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| datasheet ↗ | 295 ns | 595 ns | 595 ns | 295 ns | 890 ns | 1124 kHz | 80 µs | 50 ns |
| Reset >=80 us also in the cascade figure. | ||||||||
Clones & compatibility
“Compatible” is never stated bare here — each relationship carries how strong the claim is, and what bites if you assume too much.

protocol compatible
Chongtian MX3 single-wire IC (0.295 / 0.595 us)
Same 295 / 595 / 595 / 295 ns timing with a +/-50 ns tolerance, an 80 us reset and 12 mA drive as the Chongtian MX3 sheets; GRB in both. Neither maker names the other. source ↗
Library support
Not checked against FastLED, Adafruit or WLED source.

Dating evidence
Evidence, not a release date. A library commit proves the part existed by that date and says nothing about how long before.
