The RGBW sibling of inolux-pi in the 5050 (PI55QA) and 3537 (PI33QB) packages. The part-number suffix ‘PW-XX’ (-30 / -40 / -60) is not explained in words; the sheet’s colour table lists cool white 6000 K, neutral white 4000 K and warm white 3000 K at 12 mA, which is the likely meaning, but it is never stated.

Refresh & flicker

Same cell as inolux-pi with a fourth (white) channel: 32 bit per pixel sent G, R, B, W with the MSB first (sheet figure ‘The data structure of 32bit’). PWM 1.2 kHz, static current 1 mA, DIN thresholds 0.7 / 0.3 VDD. R/G/B channels 12 mA (8-9 mA on the Iout test line), white 16.5-18 mA.

Clones & compatibility

“Compatible” is never stated bare here — each relationship carries how strong the claim is, and what bites if you assume too much.

  • protocol compatible SK6812 RGBW

Frame layout only: 32 bit, G R B W, MSB first, one wire, which is the layout the sk6812-rgbw protocol records. The typical T1H here is 750 ns (640 on the PI33QB sheet), not the 600 ns of the SK6812 rev. 02 table. The Inolux sheets never name SK6812. source ↗

Evidence, not a release date. A library commit proves the part existed by that date and says nothing about how long before.
