No datasheet names the driver IC or its maker: the sheets are Xinglight letterhead documents titled with the SKU only, so this protocol is defined by the figures the sheets print (supply, per-channel current, timing table, pin set), not by a known die.

Channels: the sheets describe three dies of one colour family (3535UWC: “WWW” white; 5050WYWWC: yellow, white and warm-white, “W Y WW” order) driven by the same 24-bit frame, one 8-bit value per die. The catalogue has no three-channel white option, so channels: W is the closest value; it does not mean a single dimmable channel.

Datasheets disagree: the 3535UWC sheet prints “WWW” as the transmit order on p6 but its note ends “in the order of GrB”; the 5050YWWWC-12V sheet prints “YWWW” (four letters) for a 24-bit frame. Colour order is recorded as sheet-stated, not resolved.

Refresh & flicker

FPWM 4 kHz, FOSC 800 kHz (max 1100 kHz), static current 0.3 mA, propagation delay 500 ns max (3535UWC sheet C51900947).

Only a typical column is printed: Tin0h 0.295, Tin1h 0.595, T0L 0.595, T1L 0.295 us, cycle min 0.89 us, reset min 80 us; low time of a bit must stay under 15 us. Same figures as xl-2812b-sk5v, but the sheets give a 3.5-7.5 V supply range where the 5050 RGB sheets give 3.5-5.5 V.

Library support

Not checked against any library. The sheets state a 24-bit (32-bit for IC-01W) frame sent high bit first at 800 kbps.

Dating evidence

Evidence, not a release date. A library commit proves the part existed by that date and says nothing about how long before.
