A 4.1 x 1.95 x 1.52 mm side-view part, near the size of the OPSCO 4020 side-view SK6812 but with a different pin order and IC. The drawing labels the four pads of one long edge. The IC is called T4213, the part’s own number.

Outline drawn from the package family and the recorded dimensions; not yet checked against a datasheet. Pad sizes are approximate. Four pads in a row, 1 DI, 2 VDD, 3 DO, 4 GND; widths in the sheet are unequal (0.45 / 0.6 / 0.35 / 0.5 mm) and the land pattern is drawn from the mounting side. Drawn here on a uniform pitch, so only the order is information. What this means.

  1. 1 DI data in
  2. 2 VDD power
  3. 3 DO data out
  4. 4 GND ground

Compatibility

  • electrically similar WS2812B

Same 24-bit GRB frame and an 800 kHz bit rate, but the chip decides a bit by the length of its HIGH pulse alone (350 ns or less is a zero, 540 ns or more is a one) and tolerates bit periods up to 2.5 us. A WS2812B driver may work; the 200 us reset and the 50 us inter-byte limit are the traps. Not tested. source ↗

Dating evidence

Nobody announces these parts, so this records what we can actually cite rather than a release date. Library support proves only that the part existed by that date.
