TONYU’s side-view 4.0 x 2.0 x 1.6 mm pixel, with an IC that has a two-way command mode. Pin order (1 DIN, 2 VDD, 3 DOUT, 4 GND) matches the OPSCO SK6812-4020-side in this catalogue; the TONYU sheet does not name OPSCO.

Which of the two faces is the light-emitting one is inferred from the drawing (the 4.0 x 2.0 face with the lens octagon). The feature list says “5050 package” (copied text). LCSC lists it as “SMD-4P 4x1.6mm”, i.e. without the 2.0 mm figure. LCSC stock 385.

Outline and pin positions checked against the manufacturer datasheet (C524054 DY-S204016/RGBC/6112-1.5T spec p7 (package profile, front elevation, soldering pad)). Pins 1 to 4 left to right in the sheet's front elevation: DIN, VDD, DOUT, GND. Pads are drawn equal; the sheet's pads are of unequal width (1.00, 0.70, 0.45, 1.00 mm) and unevenly spaced, so the pitch is nominal. The C0.6 chamfer is at the GND end. What this means.

Compatibility

  • electrically similar SK6112

Inferred from the part code, the described feature set and the printed numbers; the TONYU sheet never names OPSCO or SK6112. OPSCO's SK6112-RG-002 sheet prints T0H 250/320/400, T0L at least 800, T1H 750/900/1000, T1L at least 200 ns and reset above 250 us, and (per this catalogue's SK6112 entry) has a command mode with feedback and current gain; TONYU's windows are slightly wider (T0H 150-450, T1H 750-1050) and its PWM is 1.2 kHz where OPSCO's advanced mode defaults to 20 kHz. The command protocol is not printed in the TONYU sheet, so command-level compatibility is unknown. source ↗
