TCWIN T-code sheets (headed “RGB LED (built-in IC)”, “Type Txx”) give no IC name or “naming principle” beyond the code itself. This protocol is the group of T-codes whose printed tables are identical; the sheets do not say the parts share one die. Only the 6028 package.
Refresh & flicker
12 mA per channel (9.6-14.4), 5 V supply, data rate 800 kHz typical (1100 maximum), 4 kHz PWM, 24-bit GRB.
Timing
| Source | T0H | T0L | T1H | T1L | Period | Rate | Reset | ± |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| datasheet ↗ | 295 ns | 900 ns | 900 ns | 295 ns | 1195 ns | 837 kHz | 80 µs | — |
| Min/typ/max: T0H 245/295/345 ns, T0L 545/900/1200 ns, T1H 545/900/1200 ns, T1L 245/295/345 ns, reset at least 80 us. The short phases carry the TX1812 window and the long phases the wide 545-1200 ns one, so the typicals sum to 1195 ns per bit (about 837 kHz), which does match the 800 kHz data rate. | ||||||||
Clones & compatibility
“Compatible” is never stated bare here — each relationship carries how strong the claim is, and what bites if you assume too much.

protocol compatible
TX1812
T80 is the same 6028 footprint as TX1812DQ-F01 and its T0H / T1L windows equal the TX1812 ones; its T0L / T1H windows (545-1200 ns) contain the TX1812 typical 595 ns. Numbers only; nothing measured and no sheet relates the two. source ↗
Library support
Not checked against FastLED’s chipset list or the other libraries’ source.

Dating evidence
Evidence, not a release date. A library commit proves the part existed by that date and says nothing about how long before.
