TONYU’s 1.5 mm pixel. Pin numbering and layout (1 DIN, 2 VDD, 3 DOUT, 4 GND, pin 1 bottom-left) are identical to the OPSCO SK6805-EC15 in this catalogue, which is the only thing in the sheet that supports calling it a drop-in footprint; the TONYU sheet itself never names OPSCO or SK6805, and its timing and electrical tables differ from SK6805-EC15’s (see the protocol page).

Datasheets disagree with themselves: the feature list says the circuit is in a “5050” package. The sheet’s pin table (DOUT, GND, VDD, DIN) carries no numbers; the numbers come from the drawing. LCSC stock 2,965.

Outline and pin positions checked against the manufacturer datasheet (C524053 DY-S1515065/RGBC/6805-5T spec p7 (package profile, bottom and top views)). Top view: 1 DIN bottom-left, 2 VDD bottom-right, 3 DOUT top-right, 4 GND top-left (counter-clockwise from the bottom-left). The black square at the top-right is the sheet's mark beside DOUT. Pad size 0.5 mm and 0.4 mm gap are the bottom-view labels; the see-through top view gives 0.55 mm pads, 0.40 mm gap. Approximate. What this means.

Compatibility

  • electrically similar TONYU 6812F

Identical timing and IC tables in the two TONYU sheets; the 6805 part is the 5 mA (photometric table at IF = 5 mA, 1.5 x 1.5 mm) one and the 6812F the 12 mA (IF = 12 mA, 5050) one. The sheets do not say whether the current is set by the die or by the LED chips used. source ↗

  • electrically similar SK6805

Inferred from the part code and printed numbers only; the TONYU sheet never names OPSCO or SK6805. OPSCO's SK6805-EC15 sheet (T0H 200-400, T0L at least 700, T1H at least 700 ns, 0.5 mA static, 1 kHz PWM, 200 us reset) is close on bit timing, but TONYU resets after 80 us (not 200 us), PWM is 1.2 kHz and the quiescent current is 1 mA. The pad layout and pin numbering (1 DIN, 2 VDD, 3 DOUT, 4 GND) do match SK6805-EC15. source ↗

Nobody announces these parts, so this records what we can actually cite rather than a release date. Library support proves only that the part existed by that date.
